How the team works

For each brand we trace the operating company and check it against the regulator's public register: the KSA's for the Dutch section, the MGA's and Curaçao's for the international one. When a "licence" turns out to be a business registration, the review says so in its opening lines, as the Winhero and MegaBet reviews do.

Some casinos are tested with a funded account. We log when the deposit lands, which documents KYC asks for, how many verification rounds it takes and when the withdrawal arrives, then compare the log with what the terms promise. The Spinpanda test is where we found that iDEAL works for deposits there while withdrawals run crypto only. Other reviews rest on terms, registers and cashier screens, because most brands in this market share a platform, a licence and a payment processor. A review that was not backed by a deposit does not claim play. When a fact changes after publication, the review is corrected and the update date on the page moves with it. An editor signs off on every review and every re-score before it goes live.

Den started on the payments side of the industry in 2015, handling withdrawal disputes for a European e-wallet provider, and moved to reviewing casinos in 2019. That background set his method: where a casino is tested with a funded account, a real deposit and a timed withdrawal, it is usually his test, and the review page says so. The rest of his work reads terms, registers and cashier screens, because most brands in this market share a platform, a licence and a payment processor with others, and that is where the pattern comes from. When he does run a test, he logs when the deposit lands, which documents KYC requests, how many verification rounds it takes and when the money actually arrives — then compares the log against what the casino's terms promise. The differences become the review: fee thresholds, per-method processing times, clauses that only surface at the cashier.
